SRiX (SR Innovation Exchange) is the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of SR University in Warangal, Telangana, supported by India’s Department of Science & Technology. Established in 2018, it runs a full pipeline from idea-stage pre-incubation through incubation and seed-stage support for India’s tech-driven startups. As a DST-affiliated TBI, SRiX administers national NIDHI schemes (Prayas grants up to ₹10 lakh for prototyping, Seed Support System, EiR) and the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme, alongside its own accelerator-branded track, Xelerate — a 3-month cohort program run in partnership with Tech Mahindra for revenue-stage Agri-tech and Health-tech startups. SRiX also runs a Women Entrepreneurship Program with TiE Hyderabad, and student-facing initiatives (InnovationX, SPRINT) to build an entrepreneurship pipeline on campuses. Since 2018, SRiX has supported 170+ startups, created 741+ jobs, and disbursed ~₹13.57 Crore in grants and seed support, with its portfolio going on to raise over ₹76 Crore from VCs and angel investors.
