Halcyon (formerly Halcyon Incubator, once headquartered at the historic Halcyon House mansion in Georgetown) is a Washington, DC nonprofit accelerator for early-stage, impact-driven founders in Climate, Health, and EquityTech. Founded in 2014 by Sachiko Kuno and Kate Goodall under the S&R Foundation, it later spun off independently, running residential fellowships at Halcyon House through 2023. In January 2026, Halcyon relocated to a WeWork space in DC and shifted to a hybrid model: in-person sessions at the start and end, virtual in between. Its 2026 slate spans seven differently-timed accelerators, including a Global Climate Accelerator, a Global EquityTech Accelerator, a US Health Accelerator, and regional tracks for Latin America, Africa, and Mexico. No equity is taken for participation. Its affiliated investment arm, Halcyon Venture Partners, spun off in 2024, manages two funds and an angel network investing in alumni and other impact ventures. Through Q2 2026, Halcyon has supported 652 founders and 440 ventures across 54 countries, who have raised more than $962 million. It ranked No. 12 on TIME and Statista’s 2026 list of America’s Best Incubators and Accelerators.
