Cedars-Sinai Accelerator is a health-tech venture program run by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. It launched in 2016 as a three-month bootcamp, originally in partnership with Techstars, providing roughly $100,000 to $120,000 in seed investment per company and mentorship from Cedars-Sinai clinicians. That partnership ended around 2020, and Cedars-Sinai continued running the program independently through ten classes, supporting 91 companies across four continents. In 2026, the program evolved into Cedars-Sinai Accelerator+, a 12-month rolling venture-building platform for Seed+ and Late Seed healthcare companies moving toward commercialization. Rather than relocating for three months, companies now attend quarterly in-person sessions in Los Angeles while receiving ongoing mentorship, financial investment, and fast-track evaluation for pilots within the Cedars-Sinai Health System. In 2026, Cedars-Sinai also launched the NL-USA Health Accelerator, a cross-border partnership with Rotterdam’s Erasmus MC connecting Dutch health, medtech, biotech, and digital health startups to the US market. Alumni include Osara Health (formerly CancerAid), Aevice Health, and Aidin.
