Nordic Innovation House Singapore is the Southeast Asian outpost of Nordic Innovation House, a network of connector hubs co-funded by Nordic Innovation (the Nordic Council of Ministers’ innovation body) and national trade agencies from Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland. Soft-launched in September 2018, it operates as a soft-landing pad and community/resource centre for Nordic tech startups and scaleups entering the Singapore and wider Southeast Asian market, typically supporting companies through their first 6-12 months in-market with local partner introductions, market education, and investor connections. Focus areas include sustainable ocean economy, green energy, smart connectivity and mobility, circular business models, and life science/health tech; the House also runs sector-specific cohort initiatives such as the Nordic Health Market Entry Programme. It is one of three active Nordic Innovation Houses worldwide, alongside the flagship Silicon Valley location (home to the REACH and TINC programs) and a newer Tokyo house – both separate, distinct programs from the Singapore operation.
